Iformis developed an extranet for Aqualife Services in early 2007 to help them co-ordinate work scheduling and accounting between their offices in Edinburgh and Skye in Scotland and Trondheim in Norway.

This extranet development was very successful in streamlining the business processes and provided significant gains in efficiency. Extranet features include:

• online work sheduling
• staff allocation
• collaboration via online messaging
• holiday administration
• timesheet entry
• invoice generation
• expenses management
• payroll generation
• management information

The extranet has since been enhanced to allow Aqualife Services clients to obtain access to their work schedules. Clients will be able to

• request jobs via the system
• communicate online with Aqualife Services staff on the job requirements and planning
• generate reports on their jobs
• obtain records of work carried out on their sites.

The plan is to roll the extranet out to clients in early 2008.
