Self Catering Online Expands into London

Our client, Self Catering Online who started out as The Edinburgh Flats Partnership has expanded into London. Their website, www.self-catering-online.com, now allows landlords in London to advertise their properties and the Self Catering Online team are already looking at expanding into other locations.

We launched the original "Edinburgh Flats" website in June 2008. The website allows landlords to advertise their properties and take bookings with a commission payable only on confirmed bookings.

Following a very successful eighteen months the business now has over 250 properties in Edinburgh. The Edinburgh Flats partnership decided to rename themselves "Self Catering Online" and expand into London.

We enhanced the original Edinburgh Flats booking system to allow additional city sites to be added with all enquires and booking transactions handled within a centralised database.

As part of the development, the Self Catering Online team have started a blog at www.self-catering-online.com/blog which they will use to provide advice and information to property owners involved in or interested in short term and holiday letting.
